City Students Fall Retreat

The City Students Fall Retreat is open to young people in grades 6-12.
The goal of this retreat will be to teach and equip students on how to live out lives and rhythms of rest. Our current culture swings radically on either side of the pendulum, either unhealthily obsessing over our tasks and work, or doing no work at all. God desires that we would ambitiously, whole-heartedly, passionately, work for Him and His Kingdom. However, God has also commanded that we rest! The Sabbath in the Old Testament was not a suggestion; it was one of the Ten Commandments! At this retreat, we will venture out together on how to follow the command of the Sabbath.

On the opening night, we will watch the sun set beside a small lake

After the lake, we will return to our host home and gather around a fire pit

We will enjoy quiet times of reflection, prayer, and worship

There will be lighthearted moments of fun and play

We will take turns cooking meals together
