Water baptism is a powerful next step in your walk with Christ—a public declaration that you have put your faith in Jesus and have chosen to follow Him. Jesus Himself was baptized, and throughout the New Testament, baptism was one of the first steps believers took after placing their faith in Christ.
Baptism beautifully symbolizes what Jesus has done for us: our old life has been buried with Christ, and we have been raised to walk in new life. It’s an opportunity to go public with your faith and celebrate what God is doing in your life alongside your church family.
